1/2 c. butter, softened
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1/2 c. sugar (may be a little too sweet for some, can add much less sugar & its still a great dessert)
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 can or jar pie apples
1 Granny Smith apple, peeled, cored & sliced thin
1 c. sour cream
1 egg

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix butter and cake mix well until crumbly. Spray 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan lightly with Pam and pat mixture in, building up edges. Bake 10 minutes. Arrange apples in rows on warm crust. Arrange jar/can of apples over it. Mix sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle on apples. Blend sour cream and egg and drizzle over apples. Bake 25 minutes. (Everyone seems to love this recipe. I've given it out countless times.)
