BAKE AS YOU SLEEP COOKIES | |
2 egg whites 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar 2/3 c. sugar 1 c. chopped nuts 1 c. chocolate morsels 1 tsp. vanilla Pinch of salt Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat egg whites, until creamy. Add salt and cream of tartar. Beat until stiff. Add sugar, 2 tablespoons at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla, nuts and morsels. Drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet lined with aluminum foil. Put in oven and turn oven off immediately. Do not open oven for at least 8 hours. Makes 40 cookies. |
