RING A LINGS 
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1 1/2 tsp. salt

Heat to a little warmer then luke warm.

3 pkg. dry yeast
2 c. flour

Sprinkle yeast over flour; add milk mixture. Add 3 eggs and 4 cups more of flour. Knead until firm but soft dough (not sticky). Turn into greased bowl, grease top of dough and cover with cloth and let rise in warm place for 1/2 hour. Punch it down and divide into 4 equal parts.

Melt 1 1/2 cup butter, roll each ball out into long narrow rectangle. Spread with melted butter, sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar mixture; add raisins if desired. Roll up, place into small bread pans; cover and let rise 1 hour until doubled. Bake at 375 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Remove from pans immediately and let cool on rack.
