1 (11 oz.) pkg. pie crust mix 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli, thawed and drained 1 1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese 2 tbsp. all purpose flour 1 c. chicken broth 3/4 c. heavy cream 5 eggs 2 tbsp. Dijon mustard Prepare pie crust mix according to package directions; roll out on floured surface to 16 x 11 inch rectangle. Arrange on bottom of ungreased 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1 baking pan. Combine broccoli, cheese and flour; arrange evenly over pastry. Blend chicken broth, cream, eggs and mustard; pour evenly over broccoli mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool slightly, cut into squares. Garnish as desired. Makes 50 appetizers. |
