PINEAPPLE CREAM PIE 
1 (9 inch) cooled baked graham cracker or regular pie shell
1 (1 lb. 4 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon-flavored gelatin
1 pt. vanilla or pineapple-flavored ice cream
Whipped cream

Put pineapple in a pot. Bring to a boil, stir in gelatin until dissolved. Add ice cream, stir until melted. Pour mixture into a bowl and cool in refrigerator until mixture is partially set, then pour into pie shell and chill thoroughly. Top with whipped cream. Makes one 9-inch pie.
