BUTTERFINGER COOKIES 
1 1/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg
3/4 c. white sugar
2 Butterfinger bars
1/2 c. butter or shortening

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Sift dry ingredients. Cream together shortening and sugar, then add eggs. Add candy, cut into small pieces, to dry ingredients. Chill. Drop by 1/2 spoonfuls on greased cookie sheet. Bake about 12 minutes. Remove immediately from pan. Cool on wire rack.
