SPLIT PEA SOUP 
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can split pea soup, undiluted
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of tomato soup, undiluted
2 c. water
1 sm. onion, peeled and minced
1 (14 1/2 oz.) can chicken consomme, undiluted
Dry sherry to taste

In heavy saucepan combine pea and tomato soup. Add water blending well. In a small saucepan, cook onion in chicken consomme over low heat until tender. Add to pea tomato soup mixture. Stir over moderate heat until heated through. Pour into individual soup bowls and add sherry to taste to each serving.
