BEEF AND TOMATO CASSEROLE 
2 c. uncooked elbow macaroni
2/3 lb. chopped meat (beef, chicken, or turkey may be used)
1 chopped onion
2 tbsp. flour
2 c. tomatoes
Salt and pepper
2 tsp. sugar

Cook macaroni in boiling salted water. Brown meat in salt. Add the onion and simmer for 5 minutes. Add the flour and tomatoes; season with salt and pepper.

Place alternate layers of macaroni and meat in a greased baking dish. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes.
