PICKLED OKRA 
Garlic (1 clove for each jar)
Okra
Celery seed
Mustard seed
Dry green pepper flakes
1 quart white vinegar
1 c. water
1/2 c. salt

Place garlic in bottom of hot, sterilized jars. Snip off the bottom tips of okra pods; put pods in jars. Tip ends must be open to absorb spices. Add 1/2 tsp. each of spices. Combine vinegar, water, and salt; bring to a boil and simmer about 5 minutes. Pour mixture, while boiling hot, over okra. Seal jars immediately. This amount of solution will fill 5-7 pint jars.
