HOW TO FREEZE OKRA 
Cut tender pods of okra from stalk. Wash okra and dry. Put pods of okra whole into your bags and freeze.

To Cook Frozen Okra: Take okra from the freezer. Wash ice from okra (don't thaw). Cut okra partly frozen in round pieces. Salt to taste. Pour about 1/4 cup buttermilk over okra and wet it good. Pour off remaining milk. Put about 1/2 cup flour on wet okra and coat it good. It will be sticky. Put about 1/3 cup meal on floured okra. Roll around until meal sticks to okra. Drop okra in hot oil and fry. Don't crowd okra - it will come out in small pieces.
