2 cups sugar 1/2 cup milk 1 heaping tbsp. cocoa 1 heaping tbsp. butter 1 tsp. vanilla 1 cup roasted peanuts Mix sugar, cocoa, and milk. Boil 6 minutes, counting from time the bubbling begins. Add butter, nuts and vanilla. Take from the heat and stir just enough to mix in the nuts. Drop by spoonsful onto waxed paper. | |

Followed exactly but turned out grainy and was crumbly and dry. I added apx. 1-1/2 Tbsp milk vigorously mixed in, dropped by tspfull, and put in freezer for a few minutes. Turned out good and just a tad grainy, but acceptable to give to my hubby as a surprise xmas present.
