BEEF STEW 
2 1/2 lb. pkg. stew meat
1 sm. can of mushrooms
1 beef bouillon cube
1/4 c. cooking sherry
3 lg. carrots, cut up
2 stalks celery, cut up
3 lg. potatoes, cubed
1 onion, cut up
1 can tomato paste
1 can tomatoes
2 1/2 c. water

Combine all ingredients and mix in 5-quart covered pot or crock pot. Cook slowly 3 to 5 hours on stove or 5 to 8 hours in crock pot.
