BEEF STEW | |
2 lb. stew beef, cut in 1 1/2" cubes 3-4 potatoes, diced 2-3 carrots, diced 1 lg. onion, quartered 1/2 c. flour 1 tbsp. seasoned salt 3-4 stalks celery, diced 1 tbsp. sugar 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 6 bay leaves 1 tbsp. garlic powder 2 cans tomato soup 1 soup can water 1 tbsp. instant beef bouillon Dust beef with flour and seasoned salt. Heat 1/2 cup of oil in deep fry pan or wok. Brown meat on all sides. Place potatoes, carrots, celery and onion in crock pot and then add the meat. Mix tomato soup, water, bouillon, garlic powder, salt and Worcestershire sauce; add to crock pot. Cook on high for about 5-6 hours. |
