SLOW COOKER GARLIC PORK RIBS
Delicious fall-off-the-bone ribs with a lovely garlicky flavor. It's the only way we cook ribs (other than BBQ).

2 racks pork baby-back ribs
4 whole shallots, peeled
1/2 cup barbecue sauce (your favorite)
garlic powder, for sprinkling
1 (12 oz.) jar Garlic Rib sauce (I use VH medium)

Cut the ribs into sections of 3 or 4 ribs each. Sprinkle with some garlic powder on front and back. Place on a roasting rack (with some water underneath). Broil for about 5 minutes each side. With a basting brush, add some BBQ sauce to both sides. Continue broiling about 5 minutes each side to brown.

Arrange ribs in large Crock-Pot. Place whole peeled shallots amongst ribs. Pour entire jar of Garlic Rib Sauce over ribs. Set slow cooker on LOW for about 6 hours. Halfway through, use a turkey baster to baste with sauce.

Makes enough for 3-4 people (or 2 hungry people!)
