BEEF RAISIN ROAST | |
4 lb. chuck roast 1 tsp. salt 1 sm. onion, chopped 1/2 to 1/2 c. raisins 1/2 c. water 6 potatoes Rub meat with salt, brown in a little fat in frying pan. Place in baking pan. Cover with chopped onion, raisins and water. Bake at 325 to 350 degrees for 2 hours. Add potatoes and bake 1 1/2 hours more. Serves 6. |
