RUM BALLS | |
3 c. finely crushed vanilla wafers 1 c. sifted powdered sugar 3 tbsp. breakfast cocoa 1/4 tsp. salt 1 c. chopped pecans 1/2 c. light corn syrup 1/4 c. rum Combine wafers with next 3 ingredients. Mix pecans, syrup and rum, blending well. Dust hands with powdered sugar and shape into 1 inch balls. Let stand uncovered 1 hour. Roll in powdered sugar. If desired, press a pecan half into top of each ball. For best flavor, store in a tightly covered container 3 days before serving. Makes about 5 dozen. |
