WHITE FRUIT CAKE 
1 c. butter (2 sticks)
1 c. sugar (or a little more)
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. orange juice
1 sm. glass of jelly
5 egg whites
1 lb. (1/2 red, 1/2 green) candy cherries
1/2 lb. pecans
1 lb. candy pineapple
4 oz. each orange and lemon peel

Stir and mix well all ingredients. Bake 1 hour 30 minutes, slow in greased tube pan.
