CHOCOLATE NUTTY BARS 
1 c. butter
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
3 c. quick oats

FILLING:

12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
15 oz. Eagle Brand milk
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. nuts
2 tsp. vanilla

Mix like cake. Spread 2/3 of this in 9 x 13 inch pan.

Melt filling ingredients in double boiler except for nuts and vanilla; add those after melted. Spread filling on cake mixture, dot rest of cake mixture on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
