BARBECUED RIBS 
3 lb. ribs (I use country-style)
1-2 tbsp. liquid smoke
1 c. catsup
1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
1 c. water
1/4 c. lemon juice
1 tsp. salt, optional
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. celery seeds

Optional: 2 tablespoons brown sugar.

Place ribs in shallow pan, meaty side up. Brush with liquid smoke. Roast 450 degrees for 30 minutes. Combine remaining ingredients. Heat to boiling and pour over ribs. Continue baking at 350 degrees for 1 hour or more until tender. Baste with sauce every 15 minutes.
