What happened to the anchovies? I always thought that was integral to the essential taste and make up of the Caesar.

I will definitely make this recipe again, but I think a few changes are necessary. I used less mayo, but had to add more milk, pepper, garlic and lemon juice. It did taste a lot like mayo so I just kept adding and tasting until I got it where I wanted it. I even added a small amount of Olive Oil. In the end it came out good and the kids loved it! I wouldn't say it was the best Caesar dressing I have had, but it was yummy and the family really enjoyed it! I will be using this recipe again, but next time I will make sure to add anchovies and I will probably experiment with a few more ingredients. Thanks!

perfect! quick, easy and tastes perfect! I made in blender so that it minced the garlic (I have a Breville blender so it doesn't have the space in the bottom where nothing gets mixed). I did a double batch and saved the rest. A double recipe fits perfectly into the large wishbone salad dressing bottles. I also used the powder like Parmesan cheese, and it still tasted really great. I'm sure it would even taste better with fresh grated (next time).

Good base recipe, but a bit too mayonaisse-y for me. Added some sour cream to mask that flavor, extra garlic and lemon juice (would have used red wine vinegar but didn't have any). Very quick and easy recipe with ingredients already on hand.

this was amazing!! I did add a lot more milk because it was a little thick. Just added 1 extra tablespoon at a time and it came out great!

This is basic, use 15 egg yolks, white wine vinegar, 4 anchovies, juice of 1 lemon, fresh garlic (crushed), salt/pepper, parmesan, and olive oil ... if it tastes to much like vinegar add more salt, if tastes to much of salt add vinegar

My family made this for Easter dinner, and it was so yummy! We're big garlic fans so we put in 3 cloves of garlic. Best caesar dressing I have ever had and I'm a big fan of caesar salad.

My mom shared this recipe with me and it's so good. I haven't ever made a big batch (I usually half the ingredients, except garlic, which I usually double lol) but my mom has made a large batch and says that she's kept it in the fridge up to a week.

Soooo good! This is the only dressing I'll ever use at home. I've been eating more salad because of this dressing. Thanks for sharing this recipe!

Thanks! It is great! very versatile, I am going to make it next time adding a bit of anchovy paste. I think it would also be a good base with added fresh dill! I'm going to put in in the recipe box!

Made the dressing today so I can make a turkey wrap I have to say that the instructions were very simple and easy to make. I enjoyed my wrap. The greatest part was that I had all the ingredients at home.

So easy and yummy! Added a little extra milk for consistency, and used the olive oil mayo, too. Quick and easy--all ingredients most people have on hand.
