1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 sm. onion, chopped
4 oz. can sliced mushrooms
1 stick butter
1 sm. pkg. slivered almonds
8 oz. jar Cheez Whiz
3 pkg. frozen chopped broccoli or fresh (steamed until crisp)
1 pkg. seasoned croutons or Cheddar cheese croutons

Saute onion and mushrooms in butter. Remove and saute almonds until golden brown. Take out and melt the Cheez Whiz in the melted butter. Blend well. Blend in soup. Defrost or steam broccoli. Mix all ingredients except croutons. Put in 2 quart casserole and bake covered for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and add croutons. Bake an additional 15 minutes uncovered at 350 degrees.
