BROILED CRAB PUFFS 
1 lb. crab meat, special or backfin
1 (5 oz.) jar Old English sharp cheese
4 tbsp. mayonnaise
1/8 tsp. ground red pepper
4 tbsp. butter, melted
2 tsp. reg. mustard
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
10 saltines, crushed
6 English muffins, halved and quartered (48 pieces)

Remove all shell from crab. Heat the jar of cheese in a pan of hot water or in the microwave oven long enough to soften. Combine all ingredients except crab and muffins; mix well. Gently add crab. Spoon mixture on uncooked triangles of muffins. These crab topped muffins must be frozen for at least 30 minutes before broiling. When ready to serve, broil until bubbly and golden brown.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
