SPINACH PIE | |
2 lb. fresh bread dough 1 stick pepperoni 2 cans mushroom pieces Pam 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen leaf spinach 2 (8 oz.) shredded mozzarella cheese 1 can lg. black olives Buy dough. Let rise. Punch down. Divide each pound into 3 balls. Roll out on floured surface. Separately, cook spinach; drain. Slice pepperoni. On each rolled out ball, layer first pepperoni, then spinach, mushrooms, olives and cheese on half of the ball. Fold over empty half. Seal edges well. Pam 2 cookie sheets or pizza pans. Bake at 375 degrees (preheated) for 40 to 50 minutes. When cooled, wrap well in Saran. I slice them and use it for an hors d'oeuvres. Can be reheated in conventional oven (microwave makes them rubbery.) |
