CABBAGE PATCH STEW 
1/2 lb. ground beef
2 tbsp. fat
2 med. onions, chopped
1 c. shredded cabbage
1/2 c. diced celery
1 can red kidney beans
Salt and pepper
1 tsp. chili powder
1 c. cooked tomatoes

Brown meat in hot fat over medium heat; add onions, cabbage and celery; cook until yellow. Add water to cover (about 2 cups); simmer 15 minutes. Add beans and tomatoes and seasonings. Cook about 25 minutes. 6 servings.
