Cabbage Patch Stew

This is the same recipe my mom used to make her Saturday night Cabbage Patch Stew. She always baked up a pan of moist cornbread and cut a big square to put in the bowl before topping it up with big serving of Stew. I personally like a more soup like consistency and add a can of beef broth and a can of Hormel's Chili without beans (I omit the pound of ground beef) for a bit more spice. Yum! Great memories. Thanks for sharing!
