CABBAGE PATCH STEW 
1 lb. ground beef
1 sm. onion, thinly sliced
1 1/2 c. coarsely chopped cabbage
1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
1 can red kidney beans
1 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 pkg. chili seasonings
2 c. Bisquick
2/3 c. milk

Cook and stir ground beef in Dutch oven until light brown, drain. Add onions and cabbage. Cook and stir until vegetables are light brown. Stir in tomatoes, kidney beans (with liquid), water, salt, pepper and chili seasonings. Heat to boiling, reduce heat. Stir Bisquick and milk to a soft dough. Drop by spoonsful into boiling stew. Cook uncovered for 10 minutes. Cover and cook 10 minutes longer. Serves 4 to 6 people.
