SKILLET SPANISH RICE | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 c. chopped onions 1/2 c. diced green sweet pepper 1 c. uncooked rice 1 tsp. chili powder 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt 1/2 tsp. ground cumin 1/2 tsp. pepper Cook beef, onion, and sweet pepper in large skillet over medium heat; drain fat. Stir in remaining ingredients and 1 1/2 cups water; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until rice is tender. Makes 6 servings. |
