HAMBURGER BUNS 
8 c. all-purpose flour
2 pkgs. active dry yeast
2 c. warm (115 degrees) water
3/4 c. cooking oil
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. salt
3 eggs

Combine 4 cups flour and yeast. Combine water, oil, sugar and salt. Add to dry mixture; add 3 eggs. Beat together by hand with wooden spoon. Stir in 4 cups more flour to make soft dough.

Knead on floured surface until elastic. Place in greased bowl; cover and let rise until doubled. Punch down; divide dough into 3 portions. Divide each portion into 8 balls. Turn balls in hands, folding edges under to make even circle. Press flat.

Place on greased baking sheets - 3 1/2 inch circles. Cover; let rise 30 minutes. Bake at 375 degrees about 10 minutes. Makes 24 buns. (Recipe may be cut in half using 2 eggs.)
