HAMBURGER BUNS 
8 c. sifted all-purpose flour
2 pkgs. active dry yeast
2 c. warm water
3/4 c. cooking oil
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. salt
3 eggs

In large mixer bowl, combine 4 cups of the flour and the yeast. Combine warm water, oil, sugar and salt; add to dry mixture in bowl. Add eggs. Beat at low speed of electric mixer for 1/2 minute, scraping side of bowl constantly. Beat 3 minutes at high speed. By hand, stir in enough of the remaining flour to make a soft dough. Turn out on lightly floured surface. Knead until smooth.

Place in greased bowl, turning once to grease surface. Cover; let rise until double, about 1 hour. Punch down; let rest. Roll to 3/4 inch and cut into circles using large glass or biscuit cutter. Place on greased baking sheet. Let rise. Bake for 10 minutes at 375 degrees. Brush tops with melted butter, if desired. Remove from baking sheets and cool.
