MOCK BABY RUTH BARS | |
2/3 c. butter (1 stick + 2 1/2 tbsp.) 1 c. packed brown sugar 1/4 c. light corn syrup 1/4 c. crunchy peanut butter 1 tsp. vanilla 4 c. quick cook oatmeal Melt butter, brown sugar and corn syrup together. Add peanut butter and vanilla. Pour over oatmeal; mix well. Press into 9"x13" greased pan. Bake in 375 degree oven for 12 minutes. TOPPING: Melt 1 (12 oz.) package chocolate chips and 1 (6 oz.) package butterscotch chips. Add 2/3 cup peanut butter (smooth or crunchy) and 1 cup salted Spanish peanuts. Pour over baked mixture. Cool and cut into squares. |
