IRISH COFFEE 
3 c. freshly brewed strong coffee
8 tsp. superfine sugar
6 oz. Irish whiskey
1/2 c. whipping cream, lightly whipped

Heat 4 Irish coffee glasses or coffee cups by rinsing with very hot water. Fill each glass 3/4 full with coffee. Add 2 teaspoons sugar to each glass and stir until dissolved. Add 1 1/2 oz. Irish whiskey to each glass and stir once. Top each serving with some of the whipped cream.
