HOLIDAY FRUIT SALAD | |
1 c. (15 1/2 oz.) pineapple chunks, drained (reserve liquid) 1/2 c. sugar 2 tbsp. flour 1 egg, beaten 1 c. chopped pecans 3 bananas, sliced 2 (11 oz. each) cans mandarin oranges, drained 3 med. unpeeled apples, chopped 1/2 lb. red seedless grapes, halved Drain pineapple. Place juice in small saucepan. Add sugar, flour and egg to juice. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth and thickened. Cool. Combine pecans and fruit. Add dressing, stirring well. Chill before serving. 10-12 servings. Macon, IL |
