We have a large family, and this is one of our favorites. I use a large pan, cover the bottom with onions with a few dabs of butter, brown the chops on both sides and layer them on top, season with pepper and garlic powder. add a thick layer of sliced potatoes on top. Mix 4 cans of mushroom soup with 2 cans of milk, and pour over top. season again with salt pepper and a little cayenne, and bake at 350°F for an hour and a half covered with foil, and a half hour to 45 minutes uncovered. the onions caramelize on the bottom and the whole dish is absolutely awesome.

I followed the idea of the recipe. Instead of a full can of water, only 1/2. But... before I put them in the glass dish I rubbed crushed garlic, olive oil, basil, oregano, salt and pepper. Poured the cream of mushroom soup w/ water over the pork and baked at 350°F for 1 1/2 hrs. It was AMAZING! It was really flavorful and soft and fell a part in your mouth.

I used bone-in chops about 1/2-inch thick. Cooking time was 40 minutes; used same amount of water and added 1/3 cup sour cream. For a little kick I sprinkled the chops with ground cayenne red pepper. The chops came out tender and moist. Very easy recipe.

Made this recipe tonight. I used cream of mushroom with roasted garlic. It turned out great, served it over rice and the rice soaked up the gravy. Delicious!

Love this recipe except I actually just mix 2 cups of instant rice into the soup mixture and then put the meat in, press it down and add some garlic powder and pepper. I also cook it at 425°F for around an hour. Rice and meat are always delicious!!

I just made this for dinner and it was so delicious. I took someone elses advice and modified it a little. I used cream of mushroom soup and french onion soup, mixed it together and poured that over the meat. It is such good gravy, I could eat it all. The kids loved it so much the were begging for the itty bit of pieces left on the bone!

I made this for the first time for the five elderly ladies I care for in an Adult Family Home tonight for dinner and these usually finicky eaters gobbled up every last bite! I made it with white rice and poured the gravy over everything but the vegetables.

I used this same recipe but instead of pork chops used duck and cooked it for a hour and 15 mins. Very yummy.
