Great recipe! Thank you! The sherry was also a good addition. Kept this one for the recipe box. Added these notes:

- Slice apples somewhat thin (not too thin or they'll burn, not too thick or they won't cook through)
- Add 1/8 cup cooking sherry to bottom of pan
- At half way, move onions to sauce at bottom to soak up juices (I had a few raw onions on top, yuck. But the ones on the bottom that stewed, man were they good!)

This recipe was delicious! I followed the directions as well at the recommendations from the other reviewers (1/8 cups of cooking sherry on the bottom, half way through push the onions to the side so they cook, etc). I will definitely make this recipe again!

This was delicious! It was sweet and sour. I used red onions. No water, just put a little olive oil in the bottom of the dish. No big mess! Will definitely do again.

Best pork chop recipe around, really love it. Its been my go to since finding it last year! I was skeptical with cooking it uncovered, thought it would not cook through in an hour. I used the thick cut and brined it too, it was moist and cooked perfectly. Thank you for sharing it!
