CREAMY RICE PUDDING | |
1 1/2 c. scalded milk 2 egg yolks 1/3 c. sugar 2 tbsp. cornstarch 3/4 c. cooked rice 1/4 c. raisins 1/2 tsp. vanilla Barely cover raisins with water and cook 5 minutes; set aside. Mix egg yolks, sugar and cornstarch in small bowl. Add scalded milk and return all to saucepan. Cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; add cooked rice, raisins and vanilla. Pour into bowl, sprinkle with nutmeg. Chill to serve. |
