SYLVIA'S CREOLE OKRA 
3 tbsp. bacon fat
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 sm. green pepper, chopped
15-17 okra, sliced
3/4 c. chopped tomatoes
1 c. cut corn, canned
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

Heat fat in frying pan; add onion and pepper; cook until onion is golden, stirring 2-3 times. Add okra to onion mixture; cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add vegetables to onion mixture; cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
