OKRA CREOLE 
3 c. okra, sliced
3 c. tomatoes, chopped
1/2 c. green peppers, finely chopped
1/4 c. fresh parsley, chopped
4 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. pepper
3 tbsp. butter or bacon drippings

Saute onions and green peppers, add tomatoes and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly for 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and simmer uncovered 15 minutes. If it gets too thick add a little water.
