GRILLED ASPARAGUS | |
This recipe is recommended for use on a charcoal grill only since you will be drizzling oil on the grill. 1 bunch fresh asparagus olive oil salt and pepper, to taste After grilling your favorite steak or chicken on your barbecue grill, and while the coals are still glowing, place a single layer of asparagus on the grill and drizzle with a little olive oil. The oil that flows below the asparagus will ignite on the glowing coals creating a flame. Don't overdo the oil as you do not want much flame! Season with salt and pepper. Roll the asparagus over and cook on each side, about 2 to 3 minutes. Total cooking time is about 6 minutes. Then just remove from the grill. Voila! This is the best asparagus I have ever tasted and it has just the right amount of snap as you bite into it. Enjoy!! Submitted by: TTodd100 |
