1/2 tbsp. butter, melted 2 lb. round steak 1 env. Lipton onion soup mix 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained Green peppers, sliced (optional) 1 can whole tomatoes (reserve juice) 1/4 tsp. salt Pepper 1/2 c. reserved tomato juice 1 tbsp. A-1 sauce 1 tbsp. cornstarch Place meat cut up in serving size portions on tin foil in baking pan. Sprinkle dry soup mix over meat and arrange in long row, one piece meat overlapping the other, slightly. Put drained mushrooms on meat with green pepper (optional). Put whole tomatoes over meat. Mix 1/2 cup tomato juice, salt, pepper, A-1 sauce, cornstarch and butter together and pour over meat. Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 350 degrees for 2 hours.
