MEXICAN BEEF HEROS 
6 slices bacon
1/2 lb. ground chuck
1 med. size onion, chopped
1 (4 oz.) can green chilies, drained, seeded & chopped
1/2 c. sliced ripe olives
1/4 c. catsup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. chili powder
6 hero buns
6 slices colby cheese
6 slices Muenster cheese

Cook bacon until crisp in large skillet, drain on paper towel. Pour off drippings. Brown beef and onion in same skillet. Stir in green chilies, olives, catsup, salt and chili powder. Cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Split buns in half lengthwise. Place a slice of colby cheese, cut to fit, on bottom half of bun; top with 1/3 cup meat mixture, bacon slice and sliced Muenster. Press down gently with top half of bun. Wrap each sandwich in aluminum foil. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. Serves 6.
