OATMEAL BUTTERSCOTCH COOKIES 
2 c. brown sugar
1 c. shortening

3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

2 c. oatmeal

4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda

1/2 c. hot water
1 1/2 c. raisins
1 c. nuts
1 c. butterscotch or chocolate chips

Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes.
