RANGER COOKIES 
1 c. shortening
1 c. white sugar
1 c. light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. quick oats
2 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. coconut

Mix the first 5 ingredients well. Add remaining ingredients. Mold into small balls. Place on greased cookie sheet and press each with a fork. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Yields 90-100 cookies.
