FRUIT CAKE COOKIES 
1/4 lb. red candied cherries
1/4 lb. green candied cherries
8 oz. chopped dates
1 can angel flake coconut
1 qt. chopped up pecans

Mix fruit and nuts. Sift 1 cup plain flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder over nuts. Pour 1 can sweetened condensed milk over mixture and mix well. Drop by spoon on cookie sheet and bake 20 minutes at 275 degrees.
