CHERRY DELIGHT 
6 egg whites
3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
2 c. sugar
2 c. crushed soda crackers
3/4 c. nuts
2 tsp. vanilla
1 can cherry pie filling
small Cool Whip

Beat egg whites until frothy. Add cream of tartar and sugar; beat until stiff. Fold in crushed soda crackers. Add 3/4 cup nuts and 2 teaspoons vanilla. Spread in a greased dish and bake at 350°F for 25 minutes. Cool and cover with Cool Whip. Top with 1 can cherry pie filling.
