DOT'S SOUR CREAM COFFEE CAKE 
1/4 lb. butter
1 c. sugar
2 lg. eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sour cream

Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla to above. Mix flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Add dry mixture to creamed mixture, alternately with sour cream. Pour half of batter into tube pan that has been well buttered. Sprinkle with half of filling.

FILLING:

1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. white sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

Pour remaining batter over filling. Sprinkle remaining filling on top. Press filling into batter each time. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.
