EASY BEEF CASSEROLE | |
2 lb. beef chuck or beef stew meat, cut in 2 inch cubes 1 c. Burgundy dinner wine 2 (10 1/2 oz.) cans consomme 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 sliced med-sized onions Combine all ingredients in casserole dish. Mix 1/2 cup fine dry bread crumbs with 1/2 cup flour and stir into the meat. Cover and bake in slow oven - 300 degrees for 3 hours or until beef is tender. |
