QUICK CHOCOLATE SHEET CAKE &
ICING
 
1 c. water
2 sticks butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs, beaten
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar

Put water, butter and cocoa in pan; bring to boil. Pour over mixture of flour and sugar; mix well. Add buttermilk, eggs, soda and vanilla; mix well. Pour in greased cookie sheet. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Note: Make icing 5 minutes before cake is done.

ICING:

1 stick butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. chopped pecans
6 tbsp. milk
1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Heat everything except powdered sugar just until hot. Take off stove and add powdered sugar, vanilla and pecans. Beat well and pour icing over cake while hot.

Note: 2 teaspoons vinegar in milk to make buttermilk.
