RED VELVET CAKE 
2 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vinegar
1 tsp. salt
2 c. oil
2 tbsp. cocoa
2 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 oz. red food coloring

Mix all ingredients together. Pour into greased can pans and bake at 350 degrees until done.

FROSTING:

1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 box confectionery sugar
1 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts
