QUICK PEACH COBBLER 
2 (16 oz.) cans sliced peaches packed in light syrup, drained
3/4 c. granulated sugar
1/4 tsp. ground mace
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. milk
2 lg. eggs, slightly beaten
6 tbsp. butter

Heat oven to 375 degrees. In medium bowl toss peach slices, 1/4 cup sugar and mace to mix well; set aside. In second bowl combine flour, remaining 1/2 cup sugar and baking powder; stir in milk and eggs until just blended. Place butter in 9 inch square baking pan; set pan in oven until butter is melted and hot. Remove pan from; immediately pour batter over butter. Spoon peach mixture evenly over batter; bake 40 to 45 minutes until puffed and brown. Eat and enjoy!
