3 c. sugar
1 c. white corn syrup
1 c. water
1/2 tsp. red food coloring
3 c. raw Spanish peanuts
1 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Bring sugar, syrup, water and peanuts to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil 7 minutes. Remove from heat; add butter, vanilla and food coloring. Beat by hand about 10 minutes or until mixture begins to thicken. Spoon onto foil; let cool. Store in airtight container.
